Reactie van Hotel MIO by AMANO op de bevindingen van de Mystery Guest

In MAX vakantieman bezoekt de Mystery Guest elke week een ander hotel. In de uitzending van 29 juli 2024 is dat hotel MIO by AMANO in München. Natuurlijk legt het programma de conclusies van de Mystery Guest voor aan het hotel.

Dit is de reactie van de hoteldirectie:

First of all, we are pleased that the overall result of your mystery check was positive and that the MIO by AMANO made a good overall impression on your tester.

But of course we cannot be satisfied with the points you rightly criticized regarding the shower drain and the drain channel.

I would like to comment on this as follows:

Basically, we are aware of the problem of the difficult cleaning of the drainage channels, as these were unfortunately not optimally executed on site. These channels are cleaned at regular intervals using special hot-air cleaning equipment and appropriate cleaning agents.

Regarding the soiling of the shower drain: these are an integral part of daily room cleaning and, precisely because they cause an unpleasant odor if they are not cleaned properly, a great deal of attention is usually paid to cleaning them. However, the photo you provided clearly shows that this drain has obviously not been cleaned according to our specifications for several days.

We have already discussed your test results with our housekeeping team and our external cleaning company this morning to reiterate the urgency of regular and thorough cleaning of the drainage channel and the drain in our showers.

We regret that we were obviously unable to meet this high standard of room cleaning during your tester’s visit and would like to apologize to your tester for any inconvenience caused.

However, please be assured that we are working at all times to offer our guests a perfect stay with us at MIO by AMANO and your research will help us to further strengthen our focus on this.

MAX vakantieman is elke maandag te zien. In verband met de Olympische Spelen verhuist MAX vakantieman op 29 juli en 5 augustus om 20.35 uur van NPO 1 naar NPO 2. Op 22 juli, 12, 19 en 26 augustus is het consumentenprogramma om 21.25 uur weer te zien op NPO 1.
